Orcon is a broad-spectrum antifungal medicine used for the treatment and prevention of a wide range of fungal and yeast infections. It is indicated for conditions such as vaginal, oral, and esophageal candidiasis, as well as dermatological fungal infections including tinea corporis, tinea cruris, tinea pedis, kerion, pityriasis versicolor, and onychomycosis. It is also used in systemic and invasive fungal infections, including candidal and cryptococcal infections, and plays an important role in the management and prevention of cryptococcal meningitis. Additionally, Orcon is used for fungal urinary tract infections, disseminated candidiasis, and prophylaxis in immunocompromised and neutropenic patients, as well as other systemic mycoses such as coccidioidomycosis and histoplasmosis.
